Day of the Dead Marshmallows

November 2nd is known as Día de Muertos (Day of the Dead).

The Day of the Dead is a Mexican holiday that is celebrated in Mexico, as well as other cultures around the world. On this day, family members gather around to remember and pray for their loved ones that have passed. This is believed to help the passed loved one’s spiritual journey. People gather in cemeteries, decorating gravestones and building private altars for their passed loved ones. This is to encourage their spirits to near closer, so they can hear the prayers of their family.

To celebrate Day of the Dead, here is an easy and fun marshmallow snack that you can make with your family! Using edible markers, draw a beautiful skull design inspired by the skulls that can be found on Day of the Dead!
